Remembering 9/11

Yes, today is 9/11. 7 years ago, we were attacked on American Soil. Not by a foreign country, but by a foreign terrorist organization. Today is the day where we take a step back from thinking of ourselves and the things we need to get done. A time where we pause and remember the men, women, and children we lost this day seven years ago. The Policemen, Firemen, and Military Personnel. The passengers on the flights that were hijacked.

One thing that upsets me also is how people are against the war and blame certain political people because of what they initiated or how they voted in Congress or Senate. For you that oppose, listen up. You may or may not have a son, daughter, cousin, nephew, niece, husband, wife, or friend over there, but understand one thing. These brave men and women VOLUNTARILY signed their name and raised their right hand to enlist into the military. They knew what they would get into even if it was during peacetime or wartime. They made the decision that if their country needed them, they would answer the call. To hear those opposing the war and saying it is not fair, just because you were a coward and hid, does not mean that they are. Today, as well as many days to come, it is these brave men and women that you should be thanking that you can speak however you wish. So when you see someone in uniform, thank them that you can open your mouth and bad talk the nation and political figures, because it is these men and women that fought to preserve the right for you to be an idiot.

Wow, where did that come from? Oh, well, one of those days, I guess.
